SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Unfortunately, RockWay is unable to accept unsolicited submissions at any time. If the editors like your query (your "pitch"), we will request some sample chapters from the beginning of your book. If we like what we see, then we will request the entire manuscript. Do not send sample chapters with the queries (pitches). If we ask for sample chapters, do not send us the entire manuscript. If we request the entire manuscript, we will give you a confirmation number. All manuscripts (except those submitted to the writing contests) must have an accompanying confirmation number on the outside of the envelope. Any manuscript submissions received without the required confirmation numbers will be destroyed (unread). To get permission to submit your manuscript and to obtain the confirmation number, you must successfully Pitch your work (or have your agent do it for you). RockWay accepts pitches & queries through E-mail, postal mail (write "query" on the outside of the envelope but do not send any sample work), by telephone (505-473-9011 or, toll-free in the USA (all 50 states), 1-866-473-9011), or from agents. From August through December of each year, we are unable to accept pitches due to the large volume of contest entries. Therefore, during that time each year, you may simply enter your manuscript into the appropriate competition if you wish. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause authors, but given the high volume of submissions daily, it is simply not feasible for RockWay to consider unsolicited manuscripts. \
