COPYRIGHT INFORMATION

sorry for the inconvenience

Because the founder of RockWay Press
is a published writer, RockWay understands the importance of an
author's maintaining ownership of his own creative work. You can learn from other authors' experiences.
Click on any of the links in the menu at
the left under "Copyrights" to discover the mistakes authors can make with the
copyrights to their books.
RockWay Press & The Author's Copyright
A book belongs to the person who writes
it. Therefore, RockWay Press copyrights all its books
in the authors' name and registers the authors' copyrights with the
Library of Congress.
The author, in signing the contract, gives
RockWay the right to publish the book only. RockWay does not
own the book. The author does.
Furthermore, since
RockWay treats all its authors as its founders wish to be treated
by publishers, all subsidiary rights (movie, book-club, foreign rights,
etc.) also remain with the authors.
RockWay does not acquire or
sell an author's subsidiary rights. If a RockWay author wishes to pursue
those sales avenues, he must hire an agent to do so.
